Cardiff City 0-4 Hull City – Premier League – 22nd February 2014

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Cardiff City v Hull City - Cardiff City Stadium

Vincent Tan’s ‘individual’ style of club ownership at Cardiff City is yet to produce much success on the pitch this season, with the Bluebirds, under the stewardship of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, going down 4-0 at home to Hull on Saturday. The home side started well but failed to make their superior possession count, and eventually the Tigers caught the Bluebirds on the break, with Tom Huddlestone firing home. Goals either side of the beak from Nikica Jelavic followed before Jake Livermore finished off the rout. New-signings Jelavic and Shane Long were superb up front for the Tigers who move six points clear of the danger. As for Cardiff, they stay in the drop-zone, one point above bottom side Fulham.
