A large pat on the back goes to Werder Bremen forward Aaron Hunt who, during yesterday’s Bundesliga tie against Nuremberg, illegitimately won his side a penalty when he went sprawling in the box – only to stand up and confess to the referee that he had merely stumbled and that a penalty was the wrong decision, with the official duly changing his mind and ordering play to continue…

We’re fairly certain the fact that Bremen were already 2-0 up at the time helped Hunt with his public display of morality, but still, well played that man.

He’s still a racist arsehole though. Let’s not lose sight of that.

@muppets: Care to explain? Was there a racist incident he was invoked in?

    Great video btw.

@muppet: Why on earth is a racist? As a Werder Bremen supporter I’ve been following his entire career pretty closely and he was never involved in any sort of incident like that. So you better get your facts straight!
