Southampton 4-2 Norwich – Premier League – 15th March 2014

For all bu the final five minutes of this game at St. Mary’s, Southampton were in total control, with goals from Morgan Schneiderlin, Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez putting the home side in control. However, two errors late on from Jose Fonte and Guly Do Prado let the Canaries back into the game, with Johan Elmander and Robert Snodgrass making it 3-2 late on.

Norwich went for the equaliser but were then caught on the countrer-attack, with Sam Gallagher firing home to make it 4-2, giving the Saints a victory they thoroughly deserved. As for Chris Hughton’s Norwich, the battle to avoid the drop continues.
