Hull City 1-0 Swansea City – Premier League – 5th April 2014
It’s been a rather disappointing season for Swansea this time around and at the KC Stadium on Saturday they once again struggled to test the opposition ‘keeper, ultimately going down 1-0.
George Boyd’s fine header on 39 minutes turned out to be the winner for a Hull side who now go nine points clear of the drop-zone, a cushion which should see them survive after a very decent first season back in the big time. As for the Swans, they are six points clear of the bottom three and still in real danger.
