Striker Scores Thumping Header In Lithuanian Game, Heads Up Into The Stands To Applaud Himself! (Video)

When table-toppers Žalgiris went 1-0 up against mid-table FK Trakai with just ten minutes left to play over in the Lithuanian top division on Wednesday night, the tie looked done and dusted.

However, Trakai upset the apple cart with just three minutes left on the clock when forward Dmitriy Kovb rattled a thumping header past the Žalgiris ‘keeper to level the score.

In fact, Kovb was so pleased with his equaliser that he headed straight up into the stands to give himself a hearty round of applause…

You’ll no doubt be pleased to learn that the game ended 1-1, with Kovb staying behind after the final whistle to applaud himself off the pitch.
