Stirring World Cup Advert Sees Trapped Chilean Miners Send Rousing Message To Their National Team (Video)

By Chris Wright

Put together by Banco de Chile, the official principle sponsor of the Chilean national side, this stirring new World Cup advert reunites the 33 miners who were trapped 2,000 feet beneath the Atacama desert for 69 days back in 2010, and sees them sending a powerful ‘nothing is impossible’ message to La Seleccion to take into the tournament with them.

Obviously it’s all in Spanish, but we’re sure you’ll still manage to get the rousing jist of it…

They may a group of death lying in wait for them in Brazil, but Chile are definitely getting their pre-World Cup hype adverts right.

    Can’t argue with that.

Shivers up the spine and I’ve never even set foot in the place.
