What with a bet being a bet and all, Belgium forward Dries Mertens had the honour of shaving off his Dad’s moustache after scoring a goal at the World Cup.
After netting the winner for Belgium against Algeria yesterday, Mertens returned to his hotel, clippers in hand, and proceeded to de-forest his old man’s top lip – filming the whole thing for posterity’s sake before chucking it up on Instagram…
