Nigeria 1-0 Bosnia-Herzegovina – World Cup Group F – 21th June 2014
Bosnia-Herzegovina’s hopes of making it to the knockout stages were dashed on Saturday night by a much-improved Nigeria side. The Africans’ pace caused Bosnia all sorts of problems with Emmanuel Emenike outstanding throughout.
It was the Fenerbahce man who created the only goal of the game, powering past Bosnian captain Emir Spahic before stting up peter Odemwingie who fired home.
Earlier on in the game Edin Dzeko did have a perfectly good goal flagged for offside but overall the Super Eagles were worth their victory which sees them go second in group F.
