Well done both of you!

Slightly awkward scenes at the Royal reception for the Belgian national team yesterday when Queen Mathilde personally congratulated Romelu Lukaku for scoring the decisive winning goal against Russia – the only problem being that Lukaku wasn’t actually on the pitch at the time and that it was Divock Origi who actually poked the ball over the line.

Queen Mathilde shook Lukaku’s hand and said: “Bravo! Thanks to your goal we won, right?”

Lukaku, who left the pitch in a right old huff to be replaced by Origi on the hour-mark, laughed off the error and pointed her majesty up the line in the direction of the actual goalscorer.

We can’t embed the actual video, but it’s viewable here…
