Having toddled down on behalf of BT Sport, Michael Owen joined in with a training session with Chester FC (fun fact: Owen’s dad, Terry, played for the club’s previous incarnation, Chester City, during the mid-1970’s) this morning and even got himself on the score sheet by rolling back the years, roaring for his team-mates to clear a path, defying his plasticine knee ligaments one last time and sticking away a neat finish inside the far post.
Warning: some Owenbanter then happened…
Seeing as though we’re dealing with Michael Owen being all over-serious during a training drill here, we feel it’s only right of us to leave this here (skip to the 1:42 mark for Neville Southall at his withering best!)…
Boom. You just got Big Nev’d!
