While the game itself was a bit of a procession, there were plenty of fun and frolics to behold after the final whistle of last night’s UEFA Super Cup game in Cardiff – starting when UEFA president Michel Platini, obviously impressed by the Real Madrid superstar’s two-goal MotM performance, attempted to bestow Cristiano Ronaldo with two winner’s medal as a mark of his appreciation…
Then came a lovely moment when, as Ronaldo descended the stairs from the winner’s podium, he spotted a familiar face in the crowd out of the corner of his eye…
However, our favourite post-game clip has to be Pepe’s reaction to a confetti cannon going off directly next to his face…
Underwear was definitely besmirched by the looks of things!
