Swansea City 1-0 Burnley – Premier League – 23rd August 2014
Swansea kept alive their 100% start to the new Premier League season courtesy of a tight 1-0 win at home to Burnley.
Pint-sized attacker Nathan Dyer was the goal-hero for the Swans, firing home on 23 minutes with the only goal of the game. However, Premier League new-boys Burnley improved after the break and went close courtesy of efforts from Lukas Jutkiewicz and David Jones. However, in the end Garry Monk’s charges stood firm to make it two wins out of two so far.
