Stoke City 1-2 Burnley – Premier League – 22nd November 2014
A brace from Danny Ings secured a precious three points for Burnley on Saturday, a result which moves the Clarets level on points with 17th placed Leicester.
Ings’s goals came in the 12th and 13th minutes as the visitors started on the front foot. The Potters fought to get themselves back in the game and eventually scored just after the half-hour mark, courtesy of a diving header from Jonathan Walters. However, despite creating a decent number of chances, Mark Hughes’ men couldn’t get back on level terms.
While Sean Dyche’s side go 18th, Stoke find themselves in 10th.
