First up, this clip is over a year old but we missed it at the time and it’s doing the rounds again today so we thought we’d share.
What you’re about to see is possibly the weirdest foul ever committed in a professional game, with Hamilton Academical midfielder Darian MacKinnon sort of intentionally getting himself slowly tangled up in the legs of Dundee United‘s Nadir Ciftci and then refusing to move during the Scottish Premier League encounter between the two sides last September.
It’s just…really weird…

According to Twitter, MacKinnon once spent time in a Young Offenders Institute for assault.
We’re assuming this incident isn’t related, as it’s more of an assault on common sense than anything.
