Having only signed for Western Sydney Wanderers a couple of weeks ago after spending his entire career at J League side Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Japanese international midfielder Yojiro Takahagi wasted no time introducing himself on the A League stage on Saturday.
Takahagi opened the scoring for the Wanderers just five minutes into his debut against Melbourne City, whipping home a slightly fortuitous free-kick before rolling out a nifty ‘sumo wrestler’ celebration into the bargain…
Sadly, Wanderers went on to lose 2-1.
