Having joined the club from AC Milan at the tail end of July, Rivaldo scored his first goals for Olympiakos in their 5-1 Greek Super League decimation of rivals PAOK on 30th October 2004.

Mr Vítor Borba Ferreira scored the first two goals of the game as Olympiakos raced into a 4-0 half-time lead, though the goal we’re featuring here is actually the one he laid on a plate for Nery Castillo, formerly of Man City and proud purveyor of one of football’s most plush and luxurious monobrows.

As previously mentioned, Olympiakos found themselves 4-0 up at the interval, only for PAOK forward Dimitris Salpingidis to pull one back in the 64th minute.

Castillo then entered the fray a few minutes later and, thanks to a network of ridiculously intricate passes from Rivaldo and his Brazilian chum Giovanni in the build-up, the hirsute Mexican striker was left with the task of rounding off the thumping with a relatively simple tap-in from eight yards…

More passes than a Phil Neville appearance on Celebrity Mastermind.

Thanks to Pies fan Roland Brittain for the nudge.

Always thought Castillo would make the big time after shakhtar, but his career seemed to be heading downhill by then.

How about Bressan v barcelona as a contender?
