It’s no secret that all is not particularly rosey in the Real Madrid garden at the moment, with a supposed crisis in full swing (heaven help the rest of us) and supporters beginning to bitch and moan about the team being through the Champions League quarter-finals and a full one point off the top of La Liga.

Oh, woe is them.

Indeed, after an attacking move broke down during Sunday’s game against Levante (a 2-0 victory, it should be pointed out), the jeering and whistling began again.

Cristiano Ronaldo, obviously irked by the brattish behaviour on display among the Bernabeu crowd, appeared to mouth “Foda se” in their general direction – the phrase being a Portuguese expression which translates as “go f**k yourself/selves”.

Well within his rights, we’d suggest.

293 goals in 285 games is obviously not good enough for some people.

*Sigh*

Suppose that’s one of the few down sides to playing for Real Madrid: being lumbered with the most toxic, spoiled and overindulged “fans” in world football.

I bet Ronaldo would love to f**k himself

The title of this post is erratic and wrong.

What CR7 said his, and I quote: “Foda-se”. In portuguese, ‘Foda-se’ is said when we are angry with something or somebody. Kinda like ‘Fuckin Hell’.

In no way has he disrespected Madrid fans, even though they are shitty supporters that doesn’t deserve to have an amazing player as Ronaldo. When things go wrong, it is really easy to criticize, instead of cheering them up. Specially Ronaldo, that needs to be pampered.

That bein said, I suggest that the title is reviewed because it is not accurate nor true.

    Keep up the good work!

As a fluent Portuguese speaker I have to make the point that ‘foda-se’ (and not ‘fodanse’ which isn’t even a word in Portuguese) is closer to ‘for f**ks sake’ rather than what is being insinuated in the video.

    He should learm from others

  5. manu says:

he’s actually saying foda se which translates to fuck, not go fuck yourselves
he’s probably saying it in a sarcastic/surprised way, which is a typical way to use the word in portuguese

Serves about right… Ungrateful pricks ,….

  7. Neil #2 says:

Agreed with the article — Ronaldo is quite right to be disgusted by such awful fans. There’s nothing about Real Madrid that I particularly like, but those moronic supporters don’t deserve a football club.

  8. Ray says:

Cr7 is amazing and he was faulstrated that he didn’t score because everyone hates him, and he works too hard to be shadowed by Messi

  9. chris says:

i think it would have been better if he started singing
    “whats the matta you hey”
    “ahh shaddappaya face”

  10. bobo says:

prick of a player and pricks for fans – they were made for each other
