Following on from Celtic assistant manager John Collins’ remarks last week that other Scottish teams aren’t “clever enough players or quick enough thinkers to punish us”, lowly Kilmarnock proved to be both clever and quick enough to secure a 2-2 draw with the Hoops at Rugby Park on Wednesday night.

However, the Glasgow giants did provide one real moment of magic in the game, courtesy of Israeli international Nir Bitton. With the game poised at 1-1 after goals from Leigh Griffiths and Josh Magenni, Bitton stepped up to smash home a long-range howitzer on 55 minutes to put the visitors back in front…

With Ronny Delia’s side looking all set to claim the three points in what had been an entertaining game, Killie were then awarded a soft-looking penalty when Greg Kiltie went down easily under a challenge from Emilio Izaguirre.  Kallum Higginbotham stepped up to bamboozle Craig Gordon in the Bhoys’ goal with this outstanding Panenka…

Oh, and there was till time for Leigh Griffiths to get his foot stuck in a hoarding after kicking it in frustration at missing a chance to win the game (Video/Vine to follow hopefully!). What larks!
