Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goalless start to the 2015/16 continued on Friday night, with the Swedish super-ego missing an open goal by heading wide when it seemed easier to score…

Ibra’s unholy miss came just after the hour-mark as Laurent Blanc’s side looked to return to winning ways in the league after last week’s 2-2 draw with Bordeaux. However, with the goal gaping after ‘keeper Johnny Placide parried a long-strike from Marco Verratti, PSG’s star man could only head wide…

The game would ultimately end in a draw, with Edinson Cavani’s 85th minute strike cancelling out Theoson Siebatcheu opener, which came just a minute earlier.

The results sees the Parisian giants stay top of the table, one point clear of Rennes while Reims drop to fourth.

It’s a sign from the gods*. Expect the end of the world soon.

*by gods I of course mean Zlatan, Ibrahimovic & Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

  2. Jeremia says:

If you look closely, you can see that in fact the goal moved out of fear of Zlatan’s mighty strike. I’m sure Zlatan in his infinite benevolence will organise an evangelising retreat for goals, so that they would learn to cope with their fears.

  3. Jacques says:

Scoring was easier then missing…. His excellency doesn’t take the easy way out.
