Ringing into the BBC 606 phone-in to discuss Leciester’s 3-2 win over Everton yesterday (a result that ensured the Foxes would be top of the Premier League at Christmas this season, as opposed to bottom at this point last year), one fan was so overcome with emotion that he couldn’t prevent himself from sobbing.
The point of no return came when the caller, a chap by the name of Lee, was describing the feeling of his young son looking him in the eye and saying, “Dad,this is amazing.”
