With his 40th birthday just beginning to crown over the horizon, Francesco Totti has accepted the fact that he occupies a fairly reduced role at Roma these days.
Indeed, the veteran was an unused sub in the Giallorossi’s 2-0 away win over Sassuolo on Tuesday night, having made just five appearances so far this season.
That said, he still managed to keep himself amused while wicking away time on the bench, interrupting his warm-up to play a quick game of keepy-uppies with a ballboy…

As the game wound down, Totti also regressed further into his second childhood by playing a classic schoolboy prank on fellow sub Miralem Pjanic as the pair sat on the bench together…
Hey, the guy’s pretty much earned the right to do whatever he so pleases at that club – within reason, of course.
It’s nice to see him enjoying his twilight (in a footballing sense) years.
