David Luiz rarely fails to entertain, does he? During PSG’s pre-season friendly with West Brom on Wednesday, the hairy Brazil nut was at it again, this time scoring a right mess of an own-goal.

The game with the Baggies, which was played in Austria, was only 15 minutes old when the 29-year-old, sporting an interesting new ponytail hairdo failed to deal with a cross from PSG’s left, prodding it past his own ‘keeper Kevin Trapp rather than staying on his feet and clearing the ball…

Yet another gaffe to add to the former Chelsea defender’s list of balls-ups.

Despite going a goal up, the Baggies would eventually lose 2-1, with half-time subs Adrien Rabiot and Lucas Moura both netting for PSG.

What continues to frustrate us is that behind all the mistakes, there lies a very good footballer in David Luiz. Unfortunately, however, he’ll be remembered for his rickets and not his good play.
