While Leicester City continue to make light work of their first Champions League campaign, the Premier League champions have, rather inevitably, struggled domestically to hit the highs of last season.

However, against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Clauido Ranieri’s side were back to their best, with full-back Christian Fuch’s long-range piledriver the icing on the cake of an impressive 3-1 win against the Eagles.

Ahmed Musa and Shinji Okazaki had put the hosts 2-0 up when, on 80 minutes, Austrian defender Fuchs stepped onto a clearance from a corner, before unleashing a venomous drive which arrowed past Steve Mandanda in the Palace goal…

That superb effort was Fuchs’ first goal for the Foxes in his 47th appearance and extended his side’s home unbeaten run in the league to a whopping 20 games.
