Sunday saw struggling Palermo produce an incredible comeback away to Genoa in Serie A, with the visitors coming from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at the Marassi.
The icing on Genoa’s dismal cake came courtesy of goalkeeper Mattia Perin, who was sent off after totally losing the plot late on and shoving over Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski.
The incident occurred when Perin was about to take a free-kick from deep inside his own half.
Noticing that Nestorovski was straying too close to the ball, the Genoa ‘keeper decided to forget about taking the free-kick, instead charging at the Palermo man before shoving him to the ground like a loon…

The 24-year-old Perin was, not surprisingly, shown a red card for his moment of madness.
The result sees Genoa drop to 13th in the Serie A table, with Palermo moving off the bottom and into 19th spot.
