Roma kept the pressure ramped up on Serie A leaders Juventus with a comprehensive 4-0 rollicking of Sampdoria on Thursday evening.

Radja Nainggolan helped himself to a brace on the night, opening the scoring five minutes before half-time with a stonking volley from the edge of the area…

Indeed, the Belgian midfielder’s strike was so mighty that it even coaxed an excited reaction out of the old-age pensioner sat on Roma’s bench…

Even after all these years, Francesco Totti’s deep-rooted love for all things Roma is yet to fade. It’s great to see.

The win moved the Giallorossi to within one point of Juve at the summit of the table, though the latter still have a game in hand over the chasing pack.

Great goal…Nainggolan doesn’t seem too impressed though!

The replay screen wipe had the TIM Cup logo so this was a Coppa Italia match, wasn’t it?

  2. Sidharth says:

It was the round of 16 match of the coppa italia aka the italian cup and not the italian serie a aka the league!

  3. Fabio says:

It was indeed a Coppa Italia match, and Roma is still 1 point behind Thieventus who have an easy game in hand.
