Video: Motherwell 6-6 Hibernian – The Most Dramatic Match Of The 21st Century?

Hibernian's John Rankin and Motherwell's Tom Hateley battle for the ball

You don’t get many 12-goal snoozefests, so it’s almost redundant to say that Motherwell’s 6-6 draw with Hibs was a 12-goal thriller. But… it WAS a 12-goal thriller! Hibs were 4-2 up at half-time, then 6-2 up after 65 minutes, before the hosts went nuts, scoring four goals in the final half-hour – Motherwell even had a penalty saved at 6-5 down! Amazing.

Perhaps the best thing about the match was Lukas Jutkiewicz’s added-time equaliser, which is a contender for goal of the season. Watch all 12 goals below and please do watch until the end:

An SPL game has never seen this many goals – it’s a Scottish league record.

Haha I love the supporters that left around the 3:30 mark in the video, I bet they can’t believe what they’ve missed. Serves them right though, it was a stunning match.
