A last-gasp equaliser from Malcom earned Bordeaux a share of the points in a dramatic 3-3 draw at Lyon on Saturday.
However, the goal of the game, and possibly of the season, came after just 10 minutes, courtesy of French international Nabil Fekir.
Picking up the ball inside his own-half, Fekir raced forward to the halfway line before launching a long-range rocket which caught ‘keeper Benoit Costil off-guard – and it was with his weaker foot too!
Incredible! And surely an early contender for goal of the season.
Kenny Tete would double Lyon’s advantage but the sending off of Les Gones midfielder Darder would change the course of the game.
Bordeaux got a goal back via Malcom, however, ex-Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore made it 3-1 to Lyon courtesy of a free-kick.
Late on, Bordeaux staged a superb comeback, with goals from Lukas Lerager and Malcom making it 3-3 at the death. Quite a clash!
