Leeds United fell to a 2-0 defeat away against Stoke City in the Championship on Saturday, having finished the afternoon with 10 men on the pitch.
Pontus Janssen saw red mid-way though the second half for a transgression that appeared to only exist in the mind of referee Gavin Ward.
Having been booked earlier in the first half, Janssen was dismissed in the 76th minute when he was shown a second yellow for *checks notes* falling over in the vague proximity of Benik Afobe…

What an absolutely woeful decision. The contact, if there even was any, wasn’t enough to make Afobe break his stride.
Pathetic.
Again.
