Video: Taiwanese Company Release Strange CGI Version Of Wayne Rooney Scandal

By Chris Wright

(Be warned, there are some very moderately NSFW-ish scenes.)

The same Taiwanese company that took Tiger Wood‘s domestic disturbance and rendered it in glorious CGI last year have now, saints be praised, tried their hand at recreating their version of Wayne Rooney‘s alleged dalliance with a certain charming young tart in a Manchester hotel room.

‘But why?’ I hear you cry, to which I must profess my dumbfounded ignorance.

On the upside, there are enough wonderfully literal depictions of quintessentially English phrases (such as ‘couldn’t hit a barn door’ and ‘throwing the kitchen sink at him’) to make this a must see.

    Btw… People from Taiwan are Taiwanese. Not Thai

  2. Grant says:

    You’re aware that “Thai” refers to something from Thailand, whereas “Taiwanese” refers to something from Taiwan, right?

  3. Ollie Irish says:

    If Chris wasn’t aware before, he is now! I’ve changed it since, thanks.

  4. EDub says:

    This is almost as funny as the Tiger Woods vid … these dudes are crazy

  5. Chris says:

    Once again, I’m pleading complete and utter ignorance!

  6. Jon says:

    It reminds me of the Sims. Anyone else?

  7. baggees says:

    its just bizarre…i like the idea that england players go to night clubs in their kits though…

  8. barkynerve says:

    But it hasn’t been changed…

    Thailand = Thai
    Taiwan = Taiwanese

  9. Jay says:

    certainly a funny animation, and very Sims. it’s bugging me to see you refer to the Taiwanese company as a Thai company. as many of the replies said, Thai is for Thailand while Taiwanese is for Taiwan. Even though these two places are both in Asia, but they are practically different. might be a good idea to change what you had on this article.

  10. Chris says:

    @Jay: It’s sorted now. One last ‘Thai’ slipped through the net.
