Gerrard’s goal was by far the best thing about the game: lovely pass by Barry, lovely finish by Stevie G.
Bonus vid of France’s defeat of Ecuador after the break. Well worth watching to see the first of Bafetimbi Gomis’s two goals.

Gomis, who made the final France squad at the expense of Djibirl Cisse, will be one to watch. He looks a handful.
