Frankenstein’s monster-a-like wins Euro 96
Germany’s Oliver Bierhoff secured his nation’s victory at Euro 96 with the first-ever golden goal. He did literally get a helping hand from Czech goalkeeper Petr Kouba though. Not a spectacular goal, but a landmark moment nonetheless. And it certainly meant a lot to those German players.
