Ecuador Striker Misses Two Gaping Sitters In A Week (Video)
By Chris Wright
Ecuador U20 striker Marlon de Jesus has a heavenly name, but unfortunately that’s where the celestial parallels end…
…an absolute howler I’m sure you’ll agree, which incidentally came just four days after this utter stinker (0:37 mark) against Argentina’s youth side…
One to watch, this Jesus lad!

Thought he was gunna start crying in the first one…poor chap
Who’s that winger in first clip? He is superb.
Looks like the type of talent Rafa would’ve brought to Liverpool. Ah, only if Rafa was still king…
I feel bad for him. The first miss was on the 88th minute and the game vas tied :/
the miss against argentina was Juan Cazares. Both good players De Jesus is coming off of an injury but he is undoubtedly the best striker in the mix.
@Al Neri
I think that’s Fernando Guerrero. He was at Burnley last year
@Santi
The Winger is Edison Montano, he is Ecuador’s top scorer with 4 goals. He currently plays with the the Belgium team KAA Gent.
Fernando Guerrero is very talented, Owen Coyle scouted him although when he left Burnley to manage Bolton, Guerrero rarely got playtime and went back to his home club Indepediente Del Valle where he is currently playing.
Yeah, I’ve since found out.
Cheers anyway
[...] Someone should put Inverness Caley Thistle in touch with Marlon de Jesus’ agent stat! Even he’d have stuck that one away, and that’s saying something – because he’s utterly sh*te! [...]
