Cristiano Ronaldo scored his fourth competitive hat-trick of the season last night as Real Madrid obliterated La Liga’s second-bottom side Malaga (who are coached by ex-Madrid honcho Manuel Pellegrini) 7-0 at the Bernabeu, taking him level with Leo Messi at the top of the scorer’s charts with 27 goal and taking his side to within seven points of Barcelona at the summit of the table.
Karim Benzema weighed in with a brace, with Marcelo and Angel di Maria also adding their names to the scoresheet before Ronaldo wrapped up his second-half hat-trick by steering home Los Blanco’s seventh of the night in the 77th minute before limping out with a hamstring problem…
