  1. The Yank says:

The sheer number of times Messi rolled shows he’s a simulating piece of garbage.

  2. Luke says:

Calling yourself ‘The Yank’ and saying rubbish like that? That’s just bloody asking for it.

  3. The Yank says:

No one can deny he had no reason for rolling that many times except to make the challenge seem far worse than it was. “Rubbish” indeed.

  4. Raul says:

That was not yellow card you can see he got to the ball first

really its just messi’s never ending roll

  6. wolfusa says:

@The Yank: i disagree, in real-time it’s not so many rolls. plus on a wet pitch, it’s hard to stop any momentum (see marcelo) when you go to ground. and, if messi wanted to, he could’ve had two madrid players sent off (or carvalho three times) if he just play-acted.

considering the number of times he’s legitimately fouled versus the number of times he really embellishes (ala busquets), messi’s a very clean player. as for his influencing the referees in other ways, he’s as dirty as any, including ronaldo.

  7. wolfusa says:

oh, and using his hand to score goals. he’s a dirty cheater in that sense, but that’s the argentine way.
