Al Ittihad Fans Revolt After Egyptian Side Concede Injury Time Winner (Video)

By Chris Wright

In which the Egyptian Premier League tie between Al Ittihad and Wadi Degla (both are flirting with relegation in the bottom four of the table) last night quickly descends into complete anarchy after Ittihad concede a goal at the death with score previously deadlocked at 1-1…

According to our admittedly flimsy research, that was the first ever pitch invasion in the history of the Egyptian Premier League – remember where you were people!

Any road up, sit tight Degla fans, for we have some bad news for you.

Given that the Alexandria Stadium pitch was full of seething Egyptians at the time, the referee actually suspended the game just seconds before he was due to blow the final whistle – thus rendering Alaa Issa’s last-gasp goal completely null and void!
