It looked for all the world that things were to go by the age-old script when Argentina went ahead against England in the second-round of the U17s World Cup via a calamitous goalkeeping error, but a daisy-cutter from Liverpool bairn Raheem Sterling and then a 4-2 penalty-shoot-out victory…i’ll say that again, ENGLAND ACTUALLY WON A BLOODY PENALTY SHOOT-OUT!!!!…saw John Peacock’s young’ns advance through to the quarter finals.

Germany await.
