Yep, it’s another post-match fisticuffs video in which, after Algeria emerged as 1-0 winners in the Military Games (nope, us neither) final in Brazil at the weekend, irate Egypt forward Ahmed Eid quite literally kick-starts a mass brawl by breaking free of the referee’s clutches and planting his studs square into the small of an Algerian player’s back – with things rapidly escalating from there.

Plenty of spectacular flying attacks to keep your eyes peeled for, even if most of them are completely ill-timed and end up missing the intended target by a country mile…

At least there are still some constants to fall back on in this hectic, ever-changing world – Egypt and Algeria still very much hate each other.

Apologies for being slightly late with this one, it got lost in the drafts pile for some reason.

That Everton goalkeeper’s kit (the camouflage one) would probably fit in this tournament.

are these members of these country’s respective militaries? Because they aren’t fighting like hardcases at all, they’re still very much in the ‘flykick from behind then flail your arms and run away’ school of professional footballer fighting.

What a d-bag. I would have let the Algerian guys go after that guy if I was the ref (but maybe that’s why I’m not…).
