Juninho Pernambucano: Older Than Time, Still A Free-Kick Colossus (Video)

He may be older than the desert (well, 36) and currently play football for less than the Brazilian minimum wage, but Juninho Pernambucano (now of Vasco de Gama) can still stick away a free-kick with the best of them.

On a weekend that also saw 105-year old Rivaldo also score for Sao Paulo in the Campeonato Brasileiro, Juninho whipped home a trademark beauty against America MG – Vasco’s only goal in a 4-1 drubbing…

How could we possibly feature a Juninho free-kick without tagging on a Youtube compilation of the wee chap’s ‘greatest hits’, so to speak…

    Juninho is still the best at FK.. even in Al Gharrafa he was scoring from 30 meters out…my favorite of all time…VASCoooooo
