Croatia beat Israel 3-1 last night, going behind a minute or so before half-time and duly equalising a minute or so after it through Luka Modric’s peachy 25-yard pinger from t’ edge of t’ box…

Very nice Luka, very nice.

Former Arsenal poacher Eduardo then added a quick-fire double in the 55th and 57th minute to complete the come-from-behind victory for the Croats.
