Mario Balotelli Mobbed On Visit To Italian Prison (Video)

By Chris Wright

Along with Cesare Prandelli and Gigi Buffon, Mario Balotelli paid a visit to Sollicciano prison in Florence yesterday and was immediately greeted as some kind of demi-god, being mobbed by the inmates as soon as he entered the hall…

I was fearing for his diamond earring at one point there.

Anyhow, Balo then took to the stage and, after batting away questions over his recent iPad-related misdemeanour, offered his congregation a message of hope – telling the gathered cons: “Guys, don’t give up, everyone has an opportunity in this life.”

What a saint.
