As well as playing like a complete defensive uber-goliath and having to take to the field in a homemade shirt during the latter stages of Ireland’s qually against Russia in Moscow last night, Richard Dunne also had the misfortune of doing smacking his face into the metal drainage grid that surrounds the plaggy pitch at the Luzhniki after clattering through Yuri Zhirkov on the touchline…
