Prone Player Booted In Head Twice As Argentinian Match Descends Into Brutal Brawl…Again (Video)

By Chris Wright

In which Argentinian fifth tier (Liga Ceresina) match between Atletico Libertad de Villa Trinidad and Deportivo Ferro de San Cristobal descends into a brutal brawl after Atletico took a 3-2 lead – a spiralling dust-up that saw a prone player booted across the face twice in quick succession (1:30 mark) and the match referee taken to hospital with head injuries…

Is it just me or is ‘match descends into kicky/punchy times’ a bi-weekly occurance down South America way? Must be something in the corned beef.
