West Ham United 3-1 Swansea City – Premier League – 7th December 2014
Sam Allardyce’s rejuvenated West Ham moved into the top three on Sunday after shooting down Swansea at Upton Park.
Wilfried Bony opened the scoring for the Welsh side on 19 minutes but just before half-time Andy Carroll rose to head home the equaliser. After the break, Bony hit the woodwork before Carroll netted his second of the game when he headed home from a Stewart Downing corner. Swansea’s afternoon then went from bad to worse when Lukasz Fabianski was sent off for charging into Diafra Sakho. The West ham sub then sealed the deal for the hosts with a well-taken goal on 87 minutes.
While the Hammers go third, Garry Monk’s Swans now find themselves in eighth place.
