Fresh from lasering in a superb free-kick for France during the international break, West Ham’s man of the season, Dimitri Payet, scored yet another magnificent free-kick during the Hammers’ 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the Boleyn Ground.

Payet’s effort looked to be sailing over Wayne Hennessey’s goal before dipping quickly to catch out the Eagles’ ‘keeper, not that he could’ve done anything about it anyway. Check out these incredible angles of an incredible free-kick…

The game would end all square, with Mark Clattenburg’s contentious decision to send off West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyate for a clumsy foul on Dwight Gayle when the Hammers were 2-1 up.

Gayle himself would then score the equaliser on 75 minutes to give Alan Pardew a precious point and dent West Ham’s Champions League hopes.

I love how a Palace fan thought it was going to miss and gave a ‘YAH’… quickly followed by ‘OH MY GOD’ as the ball hit the net.
