West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko has offered to fight a pundit who has been criticising him back home in Ukraine.

The 28-year-old has played fairly well for the Hammers thus far, scoring in wins over Everton and Manchester United, but that hasn’t stopped the heckling.

Indeed, pundit and commentator Wladimir Kobelkov has been dismissive of Yarmolenko’s form, particularly chastising the forward after he was subbed off in the second-half of Friday night’s 1-0 defeat against Brighton.

Speaking to Ukrainian broadcasters Xsport, Yarmolenko basically offered Kobelkov outside:

In my youth, I fought a lot. There was wins and there were losses. It’s normal for a boy, for a man.

I want to announce my next fight. I don’t want to listen to that Kobelkov any longer. I want to call him out for a fight and get my revenge on all those things he’s said on air.

I’m waiting for an answer.

More of this please.

We want Paul Pogba challenging Jamie Redknapp to a game of Slaps in the Old Trafford car park the very next time that blithering fool starts bleating on incessantly about body language, unfulfilled potential, hairstyles, etc, etc, etc.
