Wigan fell to their first pre-season defeat, and in front of their home fans (all 73 of them – joking). Charles N’Zogbia scored Wigan’s only goal against an impressive Zaragoza side.

There’s still a chance N’Zogbia will leave Wigan before the start of the new season. It seems the player himself would be open to a move, with Juventus his preferred destination. Closer to Wigan, Big Eck’s Birmingham City might also make a bid.
