In a bid to raise a bit of money for the club’s Community Trust and the Royal British Legion, Wolves are auctioning off a truly unique piece of club memorabilia – namely the ‘hole’ that manager Stale Solbakken punched out of the dugout at Molineux during the final minutes of the recent 3-3 draw with Brighton.
Incensed by the referee’s decision to award Brighton a last-minute penalty, Solbakken put his fist through the ceiling panel in his dugout and the piece of plastic that he smashed through has now been signed, framed, certified and slapped up on Ebay – though we can’t seem to find it, so it may have already been flogged!
Looks like someone’s getting a neat ol’ Christmas present this year: Shattered perspex!
