BBC Announce 2014 World Cup Media Coverage Team – Rio Ferdinand & Thierry Henry Join The Usual Rabble

By Chris Wright

And those be the hands that the BBC have chosen to accompany us through their 160+ hours of 2014 World Cup coverage this summer – though apparently that isn’t the complete roster, with Gabby Logan teasing several other “treats” being added before the tournament begins.

    Rio Ferdinand? Why?

  4. Chris says:

    In my humble opinion Gery Neville is the only pundit who is actively trying to save football punditry.

    And Rio – why does he look like hes is posing for the new Man Utd kit. smile you tosser..

    @AntiWanKenobi: Well done, you win the internet!

    Genius call!

    @Chris (the other one): Neville is amazing for sure. I’d love it if he could do both Sky & MOTD. Surely Sky would let him do some punditry on MOTD now & again?

  6. Kingsland101 says:

    @Straight Dave: That’s probably because he’ll be co-commentating.
    @AntiWanKenobi: Amazing.

    Rio and Shearer…..good god, surely they will have to be kept seperated? Being exposed to both of them at once is sure to reduce IQ by the minute.
