Rather Unflattering Cristiano Ronaldo Ice Sculpture Unveiled In Moscow Park Ahead Of Russia World Cup (Photos)

To help promote the upcoming World Cup in Russia, an exhibition of ice sculptures has been placed in situ at the Park Pobedy in Moscow which features over 40 carvings, all said to be “symbols” of the various competing countries.

Of course, Portugal’s entry is a large glacial rendering of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Unfortunately, as with the unfortunate squonk-faced bronze bust unveiled in Madeira last year, the artist responsible for the ice sculpture has struggled to pin down the essence of the man…

Pies don’t suppose for a moment that ice is the easiest medium to work with, but what is it about Ronaldo’s appearance that seems to inspire such unflattering art?

Any more of this and he might not show up.
