Deployed again in the deep-lying midfield role by Roy Hodgson, Jack Wilshere produced yet another superb display for England against Scotland.
He may still have some way to go if he’s to hit the quarter-back playing heights of a Guardiola or a Pirlo, but the young Gunners’ assist for team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s goal was a thing of precise beauty.
It certainly bodes well for Wilshere’s future for both club and country.
